Their meeting came about through fate; they were both admiring each other's work a long time before actually starting to work together. Darling Clementine are based in Oslo, Norway, and now sell cards & other products through shops in Europe, USA, Australia and Canada. Their carefully designed cards combine much attention to detail, humour, unique colour schemes and Scandinavian design heritage. They have been featured in many magazines and design blogs including Time Out, Elle Interior, Vogue and Design Sponge. She graduated from Kingston University with an MA in Communication Design, having first studied English Literature at Oxford University. She worked for a time in publishing but inevitably returned to her first love of making things. She works as a freelance graphic designer, makes crazy patterned illustrations and dreams of being in Mad Men. Her versatile work spans everything from branding and print design to highly patterned illustrations of sea creatures Rachel recently created a 'secret places' design as part of a collaboration with Urban Outfitters and Society6. ![]() Nicholas John Frith is an illustrator, printmaker and writer who grew up in the Chilterns, going to school around the corner from the home of Roald Dahl. He now finds himself residing on the south coast of Dorset where he is no longer keeping his drawings to himself. Instead he is sharing them with the world, and he's excited!
